HAPPY 99th ANNIVERSARY OF A - V!!!

I received this message from Mario Maltese this morning, very early this morning.

"Born out of a rush to market in a battle between the Morgans and the Rockefellers, Warner Bros “The Jazz Singer” brought Audio to Visual for the first time Oct. 6, 1927. The rush to equip “movie theaters” and changes in production studios birthed our industry. (Feeling younger now?)" - Mario Maltese

And just look how far we have come. With an estimated $4 billion dollars in revenue projected by 2030,  what started as a “talking picture show” has expanded into a convergence with the IT Industry, massive advances in technology, and new markets at every budget level. Accessibility to entertainment is, and has always been, a driver. Ensuring both accessibility and scalability to larger and wider audiences.

Remote collaboration continues to advance and create newer, better ways of working, allowing companies to build teams based on value, not just location.

Even now, we see the innovation leaping forward with “3D” videoconferencing emerging as I write this blog.

It’s a much different, and, I like to think, better world because of Audio Visual Technology.
