The 2018 recipient winner is Benjamin Loy.
Ben manages projects fairly and demands quality from all his vendors and his team members. He took the time to get his CQD as a show of his commitment to quality. He keeps a level head and sense of humor in very tense, time-crunched situations where quality could very easily take a back seat. However, for his users and his community, he strives for a higher level of AV systems.
One nomination said Ben has "an amazing dedication to thorough testing and complete buy-in on all that is the AV9000 standard and the success it brings to Ben's company and projects.
